ԵՄ–ն քարտ–բլանշ է տալիս Փաշինյանին Երևանում այս օրերին ընթացող Եվրոպական քաղաքական համայնքի և Հայաստան–Եվրամիություն գագաթնաժողովների շրջանակներում Հայաստանի Եվրամիության անդամակցելու վերաբերյալ հարցը որևէ կերպ չի քննարկում։ Հիշեցնենք, 2025 թվականի մարտին Հայաստանն ընդունեց «Եվրոպական միությանը Հայաստանի Հանրապետության անդամակցելու գործընթացի մեկնարկի մասին» օրենքը, որը ուժի մեջ է մտել 2025 թվականի ապրիլին։ Տրամաբանական կլիներ, որ Երևանում անցկացվող կարևորագույն այս գագաթնաժողովների ընթացքում նաև կողմերն անդրադառնային այդ օրենքին առնվազն, բարձրագոչ հայտարարությունների մակարդակով իբր ինչ–որ բան արձանագրեին, բայց, անկեղծ ասած, եվրոպացիները իրենց բավականին զուսպ են պահել, որևէ կերպ չեն անդրադարձել և ցանկություն էլ չունեն անդրադառնալու։

Ավելին, Եվրամիության դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Կայա Կալասը հայ լրագրողների հետ զրույցում հարցին պատասխանել է՝ Հայաստանը ինքը կորոշի։ «Հայաստանն ինքն է իր որոշումները կայացնում։ Այստեղ մեկ ամսից ընտրություններ են, իհարկե, եվրոպական հեռանկարը սեղանին է, և Հայաստանը ինքը կորոշի»,– ասել է Կալասը։ Իսկ ընտրությունները Եվրամիության համար առանձնակի կարևորություն են ներկայացնում։ Ըստ էության, Եվրամիությունը քարտ–բլանշ է տվել Փաշինյանին, ամեն գնով պահպանել իր իշխանությունը, հակառակ պարագայում, եթե իշխանության գան ռուսամետ քաղաքական ուժերը, ապա Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների համար ծանրագույն հետևանքներ կարող են լինել, ուստի և ԵՄ բոլոր այս միջոցառումները ընդամենը մեկ նպատակ ունեն՝ հնարավորինս բարձրացնել Փաշինյանի՝ օրեցօր ընկնող հեղինակությունը։Եվ թույլ տալ նրան ամեն գնով պահպանել իշխանությունը։
