«Փաստ» օրաթերթը գրում է.

Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո կաթողիկոսությունը Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու Նվիրապետական աթոռներից մեկն է, որը անվերապահորեն ճանաչում է Մայր Աթոռ Սուրբ Էջմիածնի գահերեցությունն ու նախամեծարությունը։ Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցու հայեցակարգային ընդհանուր հարցերում միասնականությունը անսասան է, ուստի 2026 թվականի մայիսի 18-ին Հռոմի պապ Լևոն 14-րդ-ի հետ Մեծի Տանն Կիլիկիո Արամ Առաջին կաթողիկոսի՝ Վատիկանում կայացած հանդիպումը պետք է դիտարկել հենց այդ պրիզմայով։

Հայաստանյան մեդիան այս պատմական հանդիպմանը, ըստ իս, պատշաճ ուշադրություն չդարձրեց, մինչդեռ այն ամբողջությամբ տեղավորվում է Հայաստանում սպասվող նախընտրական եռուզեռի տրամաբանության մեջ։ Դա սովորական կամ արարողակարգային այց չէր։ Թերևս արժեր հանդիպմանը քննարկված յուրաքանչյուր հարցին առանձնակի ուշադրություն դարձնել, սակայն այժմ իմ առջև նման խնդիր ես չեմ դնում, կարծում եմ՝ դա ավելի պատշաճ կլինի, եթե անեն Անթիլիասից։ Միայն նշեմ, որ հանդիպումը (թող տարակուսելի չթվա) ուժի և հոգևոր դիվանագիտության դրսևորում էր։ Հանդիպման աշխարհաքաղաքական և բարոյական ուղերձները չափազանց կարևոր են հենց այս օրերին ընդհանուր հայության առջև կանգնած գոյաբանական մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու համար։ Այսօր Հայաստանում իշխանական շրջանակների կողմից շարունակվում են հակաեկեղեցական արշավը և ազգային հիմքերի թուլացմանը միտված հիբրիդային գործողությունները, սակայն Արամ Ա կաթողիկոսի և Հռոմի Լևոն 14-րդ պապի երկխոսությունը, միջեկեղեցական կապերի ու էկումենիկ համագործակցության ընդլայնումը վկայում են, որ քրիստոնեական աշխարհը ոչ միայն գիտակցում է հայության առջև ծառացած գոյաբանական վտանգները, այլև պատրաստ է զորակցության կամուրջներ կառուցել։ Սա լավագույն ապացույցն է, որ Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին իր Նվիրապետական աթոռներով միասնական է և, ինչպես Հայոց պատմության ողջ ընթացքում, այսօր նույնպես հանդիսանում է հայ ժողովրդի իրավունքների ամենահաստատուն և անփոխարինելի պաշտպանը միջազգային ատյաններում։

Եթե հունիսի 7-ին Հայաստանում սպասվող խորհրդարանական ընտրությունները դիտարկենք հենց այս համատեքստում, ապա ընտրողի առջև դրված քվեաթերթիկը դուրս է գալիս զուտ կուսակցական կամ քաղաքական մրցակցության սահմաններից։ Սա ընտրություն է ներքին պառակտման, հոգևոր արժեզրկման և, մյուս կողմից, միաբանության ու ազգային արժանապատվության միջև։ Որպես աստվածաբան՝ վստահաբար կարող եմ պնդել, որ ցանկացած քաղաքական կամ հոգևոր իշխանություն կամ դրան ձգտող ուժ, որը անհաղորդ է մնում աստվածային արդարության և խոնարհության սկզբունքներին՝ առաջնորդվելով սեփական ամբարտավանությամբ, դատապարտված է ձախողման։ Հոգևոր արմատներից կտրվելը հավասարազոր է ինքնակործանման։ Դա հակառակորդը շատ լավ է յուրացրել և ջանք ու եռանդ չի խնայում պատրանքներով սնելով հային հայությունից կտրելու համար։ Դա միանշանակորեն նրանց չի հաջողվելու, և դա հայը կապացուցի հունիսի 7-ին։
