Այսօր՝ օգոստոսի 18-ին, լրանում է Արցախյան ազատամարտի մասնակից, պահեստազորի փոխգնդապետ, «Ազգային լեգեոն» ռազմահայրենասիրական կազմակերպության համահիմնադիր և հրամանատար Լևոն Գևորգյանի մահվան երկրորդ տարելիցը։

Լևոն Գևորգյանի կյանքի մեծ մասը կապված էր հայրենիքի պաշտպանության, զինվորական գործի և երիտասարդ սերնդի դաստիարակության հետ։ Նրա համար հայրենիքին ծառայելը միայն պատերազմի տարիներով սահմանափակված պարտականություն չէր, այլ կյանքի ճանապարհ։

Դեռևս Արցախյան շարժման առաջին տարիներին Լևոն Գևորգյանը ներգրավված էր երիտասարդների ռազմական և ֆիզիկական պատրաստության գործում։ Այդ տարիներին ստեղծված խմբերում երիտասարդներին պատրաստում էին դժվար պայմաններում գործելու, ձեռք բերել ռազմական և դեսանտային հմտություններ։ Հետագայում նրանցից շատերը պետք է հայտնվեին պատերազմի առաջնագծում։

Արցախյան առաջին պատերազմի տարիներին Լևոն Գևորգյանը դարձավ «Ազգային Լեգեոն» կամավորական ջոկատի հրամանատարը։ Ջոկատը մարտական երկար ճանապարհ անցավ՝ մասնակցելով Հայաստանի սահմանամերձ շրջանների պաշտպանության և Արցախի տարբեր հատվածներում իրականացված մարտական գործողություններին։

Այդ ճանապարհի կարևորագույն դրվագներից էին Մատաղիսի և Թալիշի ազատագրման համար մղված մարտերը, որոնցում Լևոն Գևորգյանն ու նրա ղեկավարած ստորաբաժանումը նշանակալի դեր ունեցան։

Պատերազմի ավարտով նրա մարտական կենսագրությունը չավարտվեց։

Լևոն Գևորգյանը կրկին առաջնագծում էր 2016 թվականի Ապրիլյան քառօրյա պատերազմի և 2020 թվականի 44-օրյա պատերազմի օրերին։

Պատերազմներից հետո էլ նրա համար ծառայությունը չէր ավարտվել։

2021 թվականին մի խումբ համախոհների հետ Լևոն Գևորգյանը հիմնադրեց «Ազգային լեգեոն» ռազմահայրենասիրական կազմակերպությունը։ Իր տարիների մարտական փորձն ու գիտելիքները նա սկսեց փոխանցել երիտասարդ սերնդին՝ կազմակերպելով ռազմահայրենասիրական ճամբարներ և ուսումնամարզական ծրագրեր։

Այդ ծրագրերով անցան հարյուրավոր պատանիներ և երիտասարդներ՝ ստանալով ոչ միայն ռազմական ու ֆիզիկական պատրաստվածություն, այլև սովորելով կարգապահություն, պատասխանատվություն, փոխօգնություն և հայրենիքի հանդեպ պարտքի գիտակցում։

Լևոն Գևորգյանին զինակիցները հիշում են նրան որպես սկզբունքային և պահանջկոտ հրամանատարի, բայց միաժամանակ՝ հոգատար և պատասխանատու մարդու։ Նրա համար հայրենասիրությունը գաղափարախոսական ձևակերպում չէր։ Դա իր ապրած կյանքն էր՝ մարտի դաշտում, ծառայության մեջ և երիտասարդների հետ ամենօրյա աշխատանքում։

Խորհրդանշական է, որ Լևոն Գևորգյանի կյանքի վերջին օրերն էլ կապված էին հենց իր սաների հետ։ Նա կյանքից հեռացավ 2024 թվականի օգոստոսի 18-ի վաղ առավոտյան՝ «Ազգային լեգեոնի» հերթական պատանեկան ճամբարի ընթացքում։

Լևոն Գևորգյանի մահվան երկրորդ տարելիցի օրը առաջին անգամ ցուցադրվում է նրա կյանքի, մարտական ճանապարհի և գործունեության մասին պատմող փաստավավերագրական ֆիլմը։

Ֆիլմում ներկայացվում է նրա անցած ճանապարհը՝ Արցախյան առաջին պատերազմի մարտերից մինչև երիտասարդ սերնդի ռազմահայրենասիրական դաստիարակությանը նվիրված գործունեությունը։ Դա պատմություն է մարդու մասին, որի կյանքի տարբեր փուլերը միավորում էր մեկ գաղափար՝ ծառայությունը հայրենիքին։
