Ինձ ոչ ոք չի կարող համոզել, որ Ալեքսանդր Մակեդոնացին, Չինգիզ խանը, Նապոլեոնը կամ Պետրոս Մեծը տանը հանգիստ նստած էին, ժողովուրդը գնաց, ասաց․
 
«Ի՞նչ եք նստել, եկեք մեզ առաջնորդեք, գնանք մեծ պետություններ կառուցենք, աշխարհներ նվաճենք»։
Դա անհեթեթ մոտեցում է։
 
 Իրականում լիդերներն են համախմբել ժողովուրդներին և նրանց տարել դեպի հաղթանակների, հաջողությունների կամ պարտությունների։
 
 Ուզում եմ ասել, որ նստել ու անընդհատ ժողովրդից բողոքել, որ ժողովուրդը լավը չէ, ժողովուրդը չի համախմբվում կամ ոտքի չի կանգնում, անհեթեթ, ապաքաղաքական մոտեցում է։
Իրականում քաղաքականապես հասուն, սեփական պետության շահերը և սեփական ժողովրդին հասկանալու ունակություն ունեցող առաջնորդներն են, որ պետք է համախմբեն ժողովուրդներին և նրանց տանեն դեպի հաջողությունների։ Եվ դա վերաբերում է նաև մեզ՝ հայերիս։
 
 Բայց, ցավոք սրտի, մեզանում ձևավորվել են այնպիսի քաղաքական էլիտաներ, ովքեր իրենց անկարողությունները, իրենց քաղաքական սխալ հաշվարկներն ու անալիտիկայի բացակայությունն անընդհատ գցում են ժողովրդի գրպանը, մեղադրում ժողովրդին և իրենք անամոթաբար շարունակում զբաղվել քաղաքականությամբ։
 
Չեն էլ հասկանում, որ իրենց ձախողումների պարագայում գոնե պետք է այնքան պատասխանատվություն և բարոյականություն ունենան, որ հեռանան քաղաքականությունից և թույլ տան, որպեսզի նոր էլիտաներ ձևավորվեն։
 
 Շատերն ասում են․ «Դե՛, մենք ի՞նչ ենք խանգարում, դուք ձևավորեք»։
 
 Ո՛չ, դա հնարավոր չէ։ Հնարավոր չէ, որովհետև քաղաքական դաշտը, հատկապես այսօր, իր մեդիառեսուրսներով, ֆինանսական ռեսուրսներով սահմանափակ է։ Եվ նրանք, ովքեր տիրապետում են այդ ռեսուրսներին, հենց նրանք են կարողանում ձևավորել քաղաքական դաշտը և մոնոպոլ ձևով փակում են այն, որպեսզի այլ մարդկանց կողմից քաղաքական օրակարգեր ձևավորելու հնարավորություն չլինի։
 
Բայց քանի որ այսօր վիճակն օրհասական է, որքան էլ դա չգիտակցեն կամ չուզեն նկատել մեր այսպես կոչված քաղաքական էլիտաները, իսկապես ժամանակն է, որպեսզի նոր որակի ընդդիմություն և նոր որակի քաղաքական էլիտաներ ձևավորվեն մեզանում։
 
Ինչո՞ւ եմ հատկապես ասում՝ ընդդիմություն։ Որովհետև իշխանությունն ինքը կայուն է, ունի պետական ռեսուրսներ, և իշխանության դեմ պայքարի միակ ճանապարհը նորմալ ընդդիմություն ունենալն է, գաղափարական ընդդիմություն ունենալն է, ժողովրդի համար հասկանալի ընդդիմություն ունենալն է։
 
 Ամփոփելով խոսքս՝ ուզում եմ նշել, որ այն, ինչ մենք այսօր ունենք, դրանում ժողովրդի մեղքը, եթե կա էլ, շատ փոքր է։
 
Իրականում 1991 թվականից մինչև այսօր քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվող և քաղաքական էլիտաներ համարվողներն են պատասխանատու և մեղավոր այն ամենի համար, ինչ այսօր մենք ունենք։
 
 Եվ այս խոսքը ես չեմ ունենում նրա համար, որպեսզի ժողովրդի համակրանքը շահեմ, այլ ուղղակի ուզում եմ, որ քաղաքականությամբ զբաղվող մարդիկ հասկանան, որ ժողովրդից պահանջելու և ժողովրդին մեղադրելուց առաջ նախ պետք է կարողանալ ձևավորել հասկանալի, գաղափարական, քաղաքական ընկալումներ ունեցող էլիտաներ։
 
 Մնացածն անիմաստ զրույցներ են, որոնք կարող ենք ժամանակի ընթացքում անընդհատ խոսել, խոսել, խոսել, բայց, միևնույն է, ոչինչ չի փոխվելու։
