Երեկ՝ հոկտեմբերի 10-ին, Սերիա Ա-ի 6-րդ տուրում Միլանի «Ինտերը» սեփական հարկի տակ 3 անպատասխան գնդակ ուղարկեց «Պարմայի» դարպասը։ «Ներաձուրիների» երրորդ գոլը հեղինակեց Մարկուս Թյուրամը՝ օգտվելով Հենրիխ Մխիթարյանի փոխանցումից։

Հանդիպումից հետո Հայաստանի ընտրանու նախկին կիսապաշտպանը պատասխանել է sportmediaset-ի լրագրողի հարցերին․

Խոսելով հանդիպման մասին՝ Մխիթարյանը նշել է, որ 3 շաբաթվա դադարից հետո խաղադաշտ վերադառնալը հեշտ չէր, սակայն թիմը գիտեր, որ պետք է առավելագույնն անի։

«Մենք սկսեցինք շատ ուժեղ, խփեցինք 3 գոլ և հետո վերահսկեցինք խաղը։ Չնայած կարող էինք ավելի շատ գոլեր խփել, այսօր դա տեղի չունեցավ»,- ասել է հայ ֆուտբոլիստը։
Անդրադառնալով իր խաղաժամանակին և թիմակիցների վնասվածքներին՝ կիսապաշտպանն ընդգծել է, որ բոլորն էլ շատ կարևոր են «Ինտերի» համար.

«Ցավում եմ վնասվածք ստացած Կուրտիս Ջոնսի և Ջոն Սթոունսի համար, բայց դա ֆուտբոլի մի մասն է։ Մենք պետք է նայենք առաջ և պատրաստ լինենք օգնելու թիմին, քանի որ մեզ 27 օրում շատ խաղեր են սպասվում, և պետք է պատրաստ լինենք բարձր մակարդակով դիմակայելու բոլոր մրցակիցներին։ Ինձ համար կապ չունի՝ կխաղամ 90, 60, թե 15 րոպե։ Ես գիտեմ, թե ինչ են ինձանից սպասում, գիտեմ, թե ինչ են ակնկալում իմ թիմակիցները, և անում եմ հնարավոր ամեն ինչ նրանց օգնելու համար»։

Մխիթարյանը պատասխանել է նաև թիմի հասցեին հնչող քննադատություններին և խոսել Չեմպիոնների լիգայում ունեցած հավակնությունների մասին.

«Ամեն անգամ մենք նպատակների մասին բաներ ենք ասում, և ամեն անգամ լինում են հոդվածներ, որոնք պարզապես ծիծաղ են առաջացնում։ Արդեն 4 տարի է՝ ասում ենք, որ ուզում ենք պայքարել յուրաքանչյուր ճակատում։ Վերջին 3 տարիներին երկու անգամ հասել ենք Չեմպիոնների լիգայի եզրափակիչ։ Հետո սկսում են խոսել՝ չհաղթեցին, չհաղթեցին… Բայց մեր նպատակները միշտ բարձր են, և մենք բարձրաձայնում ենք այն, ինչ կարծում ենք՝ ի զորու ենք անել։ Դրանք կոչվում են հավակնություններ։ Մենք հավակնոտ ենք և ուզում ենք հասնել որքան հնարավոր է առաջ ու բարձր»։
«Ինտերը» իր հաջորդ հանդիպումը կանցկացնի հոկտեմբերի 13-ին՝ Չեմպիոնների լիգայի շրջանակում մրցելով բելգիական «Բրյուգեի» հետ։ Այժմ Կրիստիան Կիվուի գլխավորած թիմը զբաղեցնում է ՉԼ-ի լիգայի աղբյուսակի 26-րդ հորիզոնականը։ Մեկնարկային տուրում միլանյան ակումբը պարտվել էր Մադրիդի «Ռեալին» 1:2 հաշվով։
