Ճշմարտությունը Ամուլսարի մասին այլևս հնարավոր չէ կոծկել կամ լռության մատնել, որքան էլ ոմանք փորձեն աչք փակել այս վտանգի վրա։

1952-1954 թվականների «Ամուլսարի որոնողահետախուզական խմբի» (Գրոմովյան արշախումբ) 126 էջանոց համապարփակ հաշվետվությունը սևով սպիտակի վրա հաստատում է՝ Ամուլսարի տարածքում առկա են ուրանի և թորիումի հանքայնացումներ, իսկ ապարների գամմա ճառագայթման ակտիվությունը հասնում է շատ բարձր՝ 500-1100 մակարդակների։ Ավելին, ՀՀ արտակարգ իրավիճակների նախարարությունը ևս հաստատել է, որ հնարավոր հանքահանման տարածքից ընդամենը 3.5-4 կմ հեռավորության վրա գամմա ճառագայթման դոզայի հզորությունը գերազանցում է թույլատրելի նորման 4-5 անգամ՝ հասնելով 80-115 միկրոռենտգեն/ժամի։ Եվ այս ամենի պայմաններում որևէ մասնագիտական կամ պետական փորձաքննություն առ այսօր չի իրականացվել։

Բայց ամենացավալին և զզվելին այն է, որ այս երկրում նախկին «էկոակտիվիստները», որոնք տարիներ առաջ կուրծք էին ծեծում Ամուլսարի համար և հանրությանը համոզում իրենց «սկզբունքայնության» մեջ, այսօր տաքուկ պաշտոններ են զավթել կառավարական կաբինետներում և մոռացել ամեն ինչ՝ հանուն սեփական աթոռի ու բարեկեցության։ Նրանք, ովքեր ժամանակին փողոց էին փակում, այսօր լուռ համաձայնությամբ սպասարկում են այս աղետալի ծրագիրը՝ անտեսելով հանրային առողջությանն ու շրջակա միջավայրին սպառնացող իրական աղետը։
