Իրանը միշտ կվերահսկի Հորմուզի նեղուցը, սակայն պատրաստ է պատասխանատվությամբ ապահովել նավագնացության անվտանգությունը ծովային այս կարևոր զարկերակով: Այս մասին Financial Times թերթի համար իր հոդվածում գրել է Իրանի ԱԳ նախարար Աբբաս Արաղչին, հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Իրականությունն այն է, որ Իրանը միայն իր աշխարհագրական դիրքի բերումով միշտ կունենա Հորմուզի նեղուցով ծովային նավագնացության վրա ազդելու աննախադեպ հնարավորություններ: Ինչն ավելի կարևոր է՝ չնայած այլընտրանքային երթուղիների շուրջ աղմուկին, այս ջրային ուղին անփոխարինելի է ինչպես տարածաշրջանի, այնպես էլ համաշխարհային տնտեսության համար», - հայտնել է ԱԳ նախարարը:

«Բարի լուրն այն է, որ Իրանը մտադիր է բարեխղճորեն կատարել Հորմուզի նեղուցի և նրանով օրինական կերպով անցնողների պահապանի իր պատմական դերը», - վստահեցրել է նա:

Ստեղծված իրավիճակից ելք Արաղչին անվանել է Միացյալ Նահանգների կողմից հակամարտության լուծման ռազմական տարբերակների բացակայության գիտակցումը:

«Սա պետք է ակնհայտ դառնար արդեն պատերազմի գրեթե ութ ամսից հետո, որոնց ընթացքում հրապարակայնորեն հայտարարված նպատակներից և ոչ մեկը, հանուն որոնց ԱՄՆ-ն սկսեց հարվածներ հասցնել Իրանին, չի իրագործվել», - գրել է նախարարը:

Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Թեհրանը Կատարի միջոցով ԱՄՆ-ին է փոխանցել Հորմուզի նեղուցով նավագնացության վերականգնման յոթօրյա ծրագիր, որը ենթադրում է, որ նեղուցը բաց կլինի վեցերորդ օրը, իսկ ԱՄՆ-ի հետ վերջնական գործարքի շուրջ բանակցությունները կվերսկսվեն յոթերորդ օրը:

«Եթե այս ծրագիրը կյանքի կոչվի, տարածաշրջանում կյանքը կսկսի վերադառնալ բնականոն հուն», - վստահեցրել է Արաղչին:

Որպես կադրային դիվանագետ՝ ես պարտավոր եմ անել հնարավոր ամեն ինչ դիվանագիտությանը շանս տալու համար, նույնիսկ երբ հաջողության հույսը չափազանց փոքր է», - գրել է նա՝ միևնույն ժամանակ նախազգուշացում անելով Վաշինգտոնին:

«Եթե ԱՄՆ-ն դարձյալ նախապատվությունը տա ռազմական գործողություններին, այլ ոչ թե դիվանագիտությանը, ես լիակատար վստահությամբ կարող եմ հայտարարել, որ դա կհանգեցնի էլ ավելի լուրջ ռազմավարական ձախողման», - նշվում է հոդվածում:
