Ղարաբաղյան ճակատի վերջին իրադարձությունները և հայ հասարակությանը ամբողջությամբ չբավարարող միջազգային արձագանքը հանրային ընկալումներում առաջնագիծ են հանում «հույսներս միայն մեզ վրա պետք է դնենք» եզրույթը:
Անառարկելի է, որ հայկական պետությունների իրական տերը ժողովորդն է, իսկ գոյության երաշխավորը՝ մեր զինված ուժերը, որոնց հերոսական և անձնատուր կեցվածքը, աննախադեպ հասարակական կոնսոլիդացիան և քաղաքական կոնսենսունսը դարձան այս պատերազմուրմ մեր հաջողության հենասյունները:
Մենք իրավացիորեն դժգոհում ենք: Ռուսաստանից՝ Ադրբեջանին զենք վաճառելու և մեր միջև հավասաևրության նշան դնելու համար, ՀԱՊԿ-ից՝ ոչ հստակ դիրքորոշումների համար, Եվրասիական Միությունից՝ Ադրբեջանի ջրացաղին ջուր լցնելու համար, Մինսկի խմբից՝ լղոզված հայտարարությունների և հստակության բացակայության համար, Իսրայելից և Ուկրաինայից՝ Ադրբեջանին ռազմատեխնիկական աջակցության համար, Եվրոպական Միությունից՝ անդեմ և չեզոք կեցվածքի համար, ԵԽԽՎ-ից՝ իր ղեկավարի ադրբեջանամետ հայտարարությունների համար և այլն:
Աշխարհի հզորների տարածաշրջանային քաղաքական և տնտեսական շահերը, որոնց մեջ ներառված է Ադրբեջանը, դեռ ճակատագիր չեն, ոչ էլ դատավճիռ: Այդ շահերը դատավճիռ կդառնան, եթե մենք որպես պետություն և ազգ ի վիճակի չլինենք մեր հավաքական ուժով բեկանել դրանք, հասկացնելով բոլորին, որ մեր Հայրենիքի, մեր շահերի հաշվին այս տարածաշրջանում հարց լուծել թույլ չենք տա:
Կոչեր հնչեցին նաև դուրս գալ մի շարք կառույցներից, որոնց մենք անդամակացում ենք Ռուսաստանի հետ և պատճառով: Ակնհայտ է, որ նման մոտեցման դեպքում Հայաստանը հերթով պետք է դուրս գա բոլոր այն միջազգային կառույցներից, որոնք այս պահին չեն կատարում իրենց բուն առաքելությունը մեր հանդեպ:
Համաձայնեք, որ սա ծահրահեղականություն է: Պատմությունը և ախշարհը այնպիսին են, որ, աշխարհից նեղացած, «պաշարված ամրոցի» վերածվելու տնտեսաքաղաքական հեռանկարը երկարաժամկետ առումով, բացի խաբուսիկ հուզահոգեբանական բավարարվածությունից ուրիշ ոչինիչ մեզ տալ չի կարող, եթե չասեմ սպառնալիքների և մարտահրավերների մասին:
Ուստի պետք է շարունակել մի կողմից՝ ուժեղացնել պետական և հասարակական ինստիտուտները, հայկական բանակը, դառնալ էլ ավելի կազմակերպված պետություն և ազգ, մյուս կողմից՝ հետևողականորեն աշխատել բոլոր այն համաշխարհային ուժերի հետ, որոնցից մենք դեռ ակնկալիքներ ունենք:
