Ես ուզում եմ պատերազմից մի փոքրիկ դրվագ պատմել, հատուկ այն դավաճանների համար, ովքեր նույնիսկ այսօր փորձում են պառակտել մեզ Արցախ / Հայաստան «խաղաքարտով» Ապրիլյան պատերազմի երրորդ օրն էր: Այ այս նկարում պատկերված կինը, ում նույնիսկ անունը չհասցրի հարցնել, ողջ գիշեր շարունակում էր ծառայությունը առաջնագծի հրամանատարական կետերից մեկում, մերթ ընդ մերթ անհանգիստ նայում հեռախոսին սենյակից սենյակ անցնելիս, կարծես ինչ որ կարևոր զանգի էր սպասում: Խոհարարուհին ասաց, որ երեք ամիս առաջ է ամուսնացել: Ամուսինը նույնպես զինվորական է, և ժամեր առաջ մեկնել է ճակատ, մարտի բռնվել ու զոհվել: Բոլորը գիտեին, ինքը չգիտեր: Առաջնագծում սովորում ես սառնասրտությանը, բայց մարմնովս սրսուռ անցավ; Հիմա էդ «բոլորին« ավելացա նաև ես, ու հավատացեք դրանից ծանր պահ չկա երևի պատերազմի ժամանակ, երբ դու գիտես, դիմացինդ դեռ ոչ: Ողջ գիշեր աչք չկպցրի, հետևում էի կնոջը, ով ինձ անծանոթ, բայց գաղտնի ցավով արդեն հարազատ դարձած քրոջս նման վազվզում էր սենյակից սենյակ, ներս ու դուրս անում իր ծառայակիցների տարօրինակ հայացքների ներքո: Բոլորը գիտեին, նա դեռ չգիտեր... Ես մտածում էի, միգուցե ձգվի, շատ երկար ձգվի, ու երբեք չգա պահը այդ դաժան, որ բոլորի պես նա էլ իմանա: Պատերազմը բոլորինս է, մեր որդիները, հայրերը, եղբայրները այսօր կռվում են, բայց Արցախում` Մայր Հայաստանի անբաժան այդ հատվածում, կռիվը հենց տներում է , իրենց բակում, իրենց տանիքին, ու կռվում են ընտանիքներով, հայր ու որդի, կին ամուսին, մայր ու աղջիկ... Նույն դիրքերում նաև հանդիպեցի Մայորի, ով ժամանակ առ ժամանակ գալիս էր ճշտելու թե արդյո՞ք գտան անհետ կորած իր ավագ լեյտենանտ որդուն կամ նրա դին, ու բացասական պատասխան ստանալով հետ մեկնում իր ծառայությանը... Անպարտելի ենք մենք, քանի դեռ ցավից ավելի հզոր ու անկոտրում ենք դառնում, քանի դեռ ահ ու վախ բառերը օգտագործում ենկ միայն թշնամուն նկարագրելիս, իսկ ներկին սրիկաները, որ այսքանից հետո համարձակվում են իրենց թաքստոցներից դուրս գալ ու բառաչել թե ինչու՞ են միայն «հայաստանցիք» զոհվում, ես կառաջարկեի պատերազմի օրենքով գնդակահարել որ գոնե ներսի թշնամուց ձերբազատվենք պատերազմի ընթացքում..
