25 տարվա ընթացքում 1-ին անգամ ՀՀ բնակչության թիվը պակաս է 3 միլիոնից

Հայաստանի Հանրապետության կազմավորման օրվանից սկսած, բարդ սոցիալ-տնտեսական իրավիճակով, պատերազմական իրադրությամբ, շրջափակումով և այլ հանգամանքներով պայմանավորված, միշտ էլ բարձր են եղել բնակչության արտագաղթի ցուցանիշները:
Եթե 1990 թվականին ՀՀ բնակչության թիվը գերազանցում էր 3,7 միլիոնը, ապա ընդամենը 5 տարի անց այդ թիվը պակասեց ավելի քան 500 հազարով: Արտագաղթի հոսքը շարունակվեց նաև դրան հաջորդող տարիներին, թեև տեմպն անընդհատ փոփոխվեց, սակայն ընդհանուր առմամբ արտագաղթը շարունակեց մնալ մեր երկրի հիմնական խնդիրներից մեկը:
2016 թվականին ապրիլի 29-ին ՀՀ Ազգային վիճակագրության ծառայությունը հրապարակեց 2016 թվականի հունվարի 1-ի դրությամբ Հայաստանի մշտական բնակչության թվաքանակը՝ 2 մլն 998 հազ. 600 մարդ: Սա, ըստ էության, առաջին դեպքն է անկախության 25 տարիների ընթացքում, որ բնակչության թվաքանակը պակաս է 3 միլիոնից: Սա, իհարկե, մտահոգության լուրջ առիթ է թե´ ժողովրդի, թե´ իշխանությունների համար: Նշենք, որ նախորդ տարվա նույն ժամանակահատվածի համեմատ ՀՀ մշտական բնակչության թիվը նվազել է 12 հազարով:
Մտահոգության լուրջ պատճառ է նաև թվաքանակի կազմը: Գնալով ավելի մեծ կշիռ է կազմում բարձր տարիքայի խմբի տեսակարար կշիռը: Նշենք նաև, որ խնդրահարույց է նաև բնակչության ուբանիզացվածության մակարդակը: Համաձայն ԱՎԾ հրապարակման՝ 2մլն 998 հազ. 600 բնակիչներից 1 մլն 907 հազար կազմում է քաղաքային բնակչությունը, իսկ 1 մլն 91 հազ. 600-ը՝ գյուղական:
Նախորդ տարվա ընթացքում բնակչության թիվը պակասել է բոլոր մարզերում, սակայն ամենից շատ՝ Լոռիում ու Տավուշում՝ համապատասխանաբար 3000-ով և 3200-ով: Մշտական բնակչության թիվն ավելացել է միայն մայրաքաղաքում՝ 2200-ով և դարձել 1 մլն 73 հազ. 700 բնակիչ: Վերջին ցուցանիշը փաստում է, որ, արտագաղթից բացի, բավականին մեծ է նաև բնակչության հոսքը մարզերից դեպի Երևան: Վերոնշյալ բոլոր ցուցանիշները լուրջ մտորելու առիթ են տալիս և փաստում անհրաժեշտ մի շարք քայլերի կենսականությունը դեմոգրաֆիկ այս խնդիրները կարգավորելու համար:
