Օբրեգոն քաղաքից 37-ամյա մեքսիկացի Անդրե Մորենոյի ստամոքսի 70%-ը կհեռացնեն՝ նրա կյանքը երկարացնելու համար: 435 կիլոգրամ կշռող հիվանդին հիվանդանոց տեղափոխելու համար պահանջվել են 7 մարդ և վերհան մեքենա: Ծնվելիս Մորենոն կշռել է 5,8 կգ: 10 տարեկանում նա կշռել է 120 կգ՝ հայտնում է Daily Mail-ը:

Բժիշկների խոսքով՝ իրենք առաջին անգամ են վիրահատում այդքան գեր հիվանդի: Նրանք երկար ժամանակ կասկածել են՝ արդյոք վիրահատական սեղանը կդիմանա՞ Մորենոյի քաշին: Ճարպակալման պատճառով մեքսիկացին մի քանի տարի անկողնուց վեր չի կացել: Նա տարբեր հիվանդություններով է տառապում: Մեքսիկացին հույս ունի, որ երբ նոր մարմին ունենա, կկարողանա նորմալ կյանքի վերադառնալ:

Mexican Andres Moreno, the world's heaviest man, is going for fat reduction surgery tomorrow

The 37-year-old has become bed bound over recent years due to his weight and also suffers from a variety of serious illnesses

Moreno, pictured at home in Obregon City, said that he now just wanted to overcome the surgery to 'be someone with a normal body'

A team of seven staff had to help hoist Andres Moreno onto a special reinforced stretcher to transport him from his home in Obregon City to a Guadalajara hospital for the gastric bypass on Wednesday

Medics will remove the majority of Moreno's stomach, around 70 per cent, and re-route a lengthy portion of his small intestine at the Mexico Gastric Bypass unit in the Arboledas Hospital (pictured)
