Քանի գրամ ուտելիք պետք ուտել մեկ անգամվա համար:

1 Երկու ձեռքերի ափերի բուռի չափ – բանջարեղենի քանակություն, որը պետք է ուտել մեկ օրվա ընթացքում:

2 Բռունցքի դիմացի մասի չափ – ածխաջրերի օրական չափաբաժին (բրինձ, այլ հացահատիկներ, մակարոնեղեն, հաց):

3 Ձեռքի ափի չափը՝ առանց մատների, ցույց է տալիս թե ինչ չափի մսի կտոր կարող եք ուտել օրվա ընթացքում:

4 Սեղմած բռունցքի չափին համապատասխան մրգեր պետք է ուտել մեկ օրվա մեջ՝ ամուր առողջության համար:

5 Ցուցամատի վերին ֆալանգի չափը սերուցքային կարագի և այլ ճարպերի այն քանակությունն է, որ կարելի է ուտել՝ առանց մարմնի կառուցվածքին վնաս հասցնելու:

Այսպես սնվելը շատ հեշտ է: Բավական է միայն հիշել, թե ինչքան է սննդի օրական չափաբաժինը, և բաժանել այն երեք մասի՝ նախաճաշ, ճաշ, ընթրիք:
