Հարվարդի համալսարանի գիտնականները պնդում են, որ ձմռանը մենք 30 տոկոսով ավելի շատ մաքուր թթվածին ենք ստանում, քան ամռանը։ Կանադացի գիտնականներն էլ պարզել են, որ սառը եղանակը երջանկության հորմոն է առաջացնում, ինչպես նաեւ բարձրացնում ուղեղի ակտիվությունը։
 
2.  Նիհարում ենք
 
Վերջերս պարզվել է նաեւ, որ սառը եղանակին նյութափոխանակությունն ակտիվանում է, եւ ճարպը սկսում է ավելի արագ հալչել։ Արդյունքում ձմռանն ավելի հեշտ է նիհարելը։
 
3. Պահպանում ենք երիտասարդությունը
 
Արդեն վաղուց գեղեցկության եւ երիտասարդության համար օգտագործում են կրիոկամերաները՝ սառցարաններ։ Պարզվում է, որ սառը օդը նեղացնում է դեմքի մաշկի ճարպային գնդերը, բարելավում դեմքի գույնը։ Իհարկե, խոսքը կարճ ժամանակով սառը եղանակին դրսում մնալու մասին է, մեկ ժամից ոչ ավելի։

Եւ չնայած այս ամենին՝ անչափ կարեւոր է հիշել, որ ցուրտը կարող է վտանգավոր լինել։ Դուրս գալիս երբեք մի մոռացեք տաք գլխարկ դնել, հետեւեք, որ կոշիկները չոր լինեն, գուլպաներն էլ մաքուր, որպեսզի ոտքերը չսառչեն։ Իսկ եթե զգում եք, որ ոտքերը սառել են, տուն գալուն պես լվացեք տաք ջրով ու տաք գուլպաներ հագեք։
