ՊԱԲԼՈ ՊԻԿԱՍՍՈ

ՑԱՆԿԱՑԱ ՆԿԱՐԻՉ ԴԱՌՆԱԼ ՈՒ ԴԱՐՁԱ

Արվեստը ոչ անցյալ ունի, ոչ ապագա: Այն արվեստը, որն այսօր անկարող է համոզել, վաղն ընդհանրապես կանհետանա: Օրինակ, չես ասի, թե հունական կամ եգիպտական արվեստը անցյալին են պատկանում, որովհետև նրանք այսօր ավելի խոսուն ու կենդանի են, քան երեկ:Ձևափոխությունը դեռ էվոլյուցիա չէ: Եթե արվեստագետը փոխել է արտահայտչամիջոցները, սա դեռ չի նշանակում, թե փոխել է իր աշխարհընկալումը: Բոլորը, այդ թվում և նկարիչները, ունեն դրա իրավունքը: Ես մեդիտացիայով չեմ զբաղվում ու փորձարկումներ չեմ անում: Եթե բան ունեմ ասելու, ապա ասում եմ այն եղանակով, որ ինձ ամենից հարմարն է թվում:

Ասում են, թե արվեստագետը պետք է աշխատի հանուն արվեստի' արհամարհելով հաջողության միտքն անգամ: Սուտ է, արվեստագետը կարիք ունի հաջողության ոչ միայն ապրուստի միջոցներ հայթայթելու կամ իր ստեղծագործությունները իրացնելու համար: Նույնիսկ հարուստ նկարիչը կարիք ունի հաջողության: Պարզապես շատ շատերը ոչինչ չեն հասկանում արվեստից և դատում են գործի մասին ըստ նրա ունեցած հաջողության: Ուրեմն, ինչու հաջողությունը թողնենք : Եվ որտե՞ղ է ասված, թե հաջողությունը նրանցն է, ովքեր շոյում են հասարակության ճաշակը: Ես կապացուցեմ, որ կարելի է հաջողության հասնել' անկախ ամեն ինչից:Չմոռանամ միայն նշել, որ այստեղ բացառված են ամեն կարգի փոխզիջումները:

Գեղեցկության ընկալման ակադեմիական դաստիարակությունը սխալ է: Մեզ խաբել են և այնքան լավ են խաբել, որ ճշմարտության հետք անգամ չես գտնի հիմա: Վեներայի, Պարթենոնի գեղեցկությունը նույնատիպ ստեր են: Արվեստը գեղեցկության դրույթի կամ կանոնի պարտադիր կիրառումը չէ, այլ այն, որ ուղեղն ու բնազդը կարող են ընկալել անկախ կանոնից: Նկարչությունը ինձնից ուժեղ է, նա ինձ ստիպում է անել այն, ինչ ինքն է ուզում:

Երբ նկարում եմ, աշխատում եմ ստեղծել այնպիսի մի պատկեր, որին մարդիկ ամենաքիչն են սպասում և որը բավականաչափ արտառոց է չհասկացվելու համար: Ես մարդկանց տալիս եմ բնության կամ հենց իրենց պատկերը: Եթե մասերի բաժանենք կտավի կերպարները, ապա առանձին- առանձին նրանք արված են ընդունված կարգի համաձայն, բայց ի մի են բերված ու հավաքված են այնքան խառնիխուռն ու հասկանալի, որ դիտողն ակամայից մտածմունքի մեջ է ընկնում, որը և ստիպում է նրանց հարցերն ուղղել ինքն իրեն: Ամենավատն այն է, որ նկարիչը երբեք չի ավարտում իր կտավը: Եվ չկա մի պահ, երբ նա կարող է հանգիստ ասել. : Հենց կանգ ես առնում, նշանակում է' նորից ես սկսում: Իհարկե, փորձում ես կտավը մի կողմ դնել, որոշում ես այլևս ձեռք չտալ: Բայց փաստն այն է, որ երբեք ոչ մի կտավի տակ չես կարող գրել' վերջ:
