Ակնհայտ է, որ Բրյուսելն ու Վաշինգտոնը նպատակ են դրել ոչնչացնել Հայաստանի և Ռուսաստանի միջև կապերի ողջ ներուժը՝ թե՛ անվտանգության, թե՛ տնտեսական ոլորտում, խաթարել ՀԱՊԿ-ի և ԵԱՏՄ-ի վրա հիմնված տարածաշրջանային անվտանգության և տարածաշրջանային գործընկերության մեխանիզմները։ Այս մասին հայտարարել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչ Մարիա Զախարովան։

«Արևմտյանները, ինչպես հասկանում ենք, փորձում են վիճել նաև իրենց ամենամոտ հարևանների հետ՝ ի դեմս Ադրբեջանի, Հայաստանի, Վրաստանի, Իրանի, Ռուսաստանի, Թուրքիայի, անկախ նրանից, թե ինչ գեղեցիկ խոսքեր են նրանք ասում Հարավային Կովկասում խաղաղության մասին»,- ասել է Զախարովան։

Նրա խոսքով՝ «Հայաստանին վերապահված է միայն գործիքի դեր», որով ԱՄՆ-ն ու ԵՄ-ն ցանկանում են նոր մեծ կրակ վառել։

«Միամտություն է կարծել, որ արևմտյան միջոցներն ինչ-որ կերպ կուժեղացնեն Հայաստանի պաշտպանունակությունը, կբարձրացնեն նրա սահմանային անվտանգությունը և տնտեսական բարգավաճումը»,- ընդգծել է Զախարովան։

«Ընդհակառակը, ուզում են Հայաստանին զրկել ազգային ամեն ինչից՝ պաշտպանությունից, տնտեսությունից, էներգիայից, որպեսզի դրա դիմաց տան ակնհայտ անհնարին ճանապարհային քարտեզներ, թղթե ծրագրեր և այլ անվերջ դեմագոգիա, հետո, լուծելով իրենց պատեհապաշտ խնդիրները, կլքեն Հայաստանը»,- ասել է ՌԴ ԱԳՆ պաշտոնական ներկայացուցիչը։
