ԱԺ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության և հանրային հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի՝ ապօրինաբար լիազորությունները դադարեցված նախագահ, անկուսակցական պատգամավոր Թագուհի Թովմասյանը սոցցանցի իր էջում գրել է․

«AAD (Հայաստան, Արցախ, Սփյուռք) 14-րդ ամենամյա մրցանակաբաշխության ժամանակ արժանացա «Հայրենիքին մատուցած ծառայությունների համար» անվանակարգում պատվոգրի:

«Շնորհակալ եմ այս գնահատականի համար: Հայրենիքին ծառայելը, կարծում եմ, յուրաքանչյուր ծնված հայի առաքելությունն է: Դա չվերջացող գործընթաց է, չավարտվող աշխատանք, ու ես պատվով եմ կատարում իմ աշխատանքը, ես սիրում եմ իմ աշխատանքը:

Իհարկե, լինում են դեպքեր, իրավիճակներ, երբ խորը հիասթափությունն ուղղակի չի թողնում, որ դու շարունակես նայել ապագային, բայց մենք պարտվել ենք պատերազմի դաշտում, պարտությունը չպիտի լինի մեր հոգիներում, պարտությունը չպիտի ուղեկից լինի մեզ:

Մենք պիտի ապրենք ապագա հաղթանակների հույսով և ապագա հաղթանակների նպատակադրմամբ: Ես միայն այս մաղթանքն եմ ուզում այսօր հնչեցնել և բոլորիդ ցանկանալ ապագա հաղթանակներ, որպեսզի կարողանանք այն, ինչ կորցրել ենք, կամաց-կամաց, բլուր-բլուր հետ բերել, որովհետև երբեք որևէ մեկը մեզ չի արգելում ունենալ Հայրենիք:

Այս ժամանակավոր անարդարությունը, կարծում եմ, մենք կկարողանանք ազգովի հաղթահարել, եթե բոլորս լինենք միասնական, յուրաքանչյուրս կատարենք աշխատանքն այնպիսի սիրով, այնպիսի պատասխանատվությամբ և իսկապես այնպիսի հայրենասիրությամբ, որ անկեղծորեն հավատանք մեր աշխատանքի արդյունավետությանը:

Շնորհակալ եմ նաև Ձեզ, Մամիկոն ջան, այս երեկոն կազմակերպելու համար: Ուզում եմ, որ յուրաքանչյուր ստացած գնահատական լինի մոտիվացնող: Խոնարհումս եմ հայտնում զոհված զինծառայողների ծնողներին, ընտանիքներին, շուտափույթ ապաքինում և կյանքի շարունակականությունն ապահովելու հույսի արթնացում այն բոլոր զինվորներին, ովքեր իրենց կեսը թողել են պատերազմի դաշտում:

Մենք չենք պարտվել ամբողջությամբ և վերջնականապես. սա ժամանակավոր է, մենք պիտի նայենք առաջ, և ապագա սերունդները պետք է մեզ համար ավելի նոր ու հզոր հայրենիք կերտեն: Ես հավատում եմ այդ ապագային: Շնորհակալ եմ…»։
