Հայաստանի Հանրապետության նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանը Հանրապետության տոնի առթիվ պետական բարձր պարգևներ և կոչումներ շնորհեց մի շարք ոլորտների ներկայացուցիչների: Արմեն Սարգսյանը շնորհավորեց ներկաներին ու հույս հայտնեց, որ առաջիկայում պարգևներ հանձնելու հնարավորություն կունենա նաև նրանց, ովքեր ևս արժանի են այդ կոչումներին ու պարգևներին:

 

«Մենք հին ժողովուրդ ենք, որն ունեցել է շատ հզոր պետականություն, կորցրել է այն, նորից վերագտել է իր պետականությունը, և այսօր ապրում է իր նոր պետականության ծաղկումը: Այնպես որ, թույլ տվեք շնորհավորել ձեզ Հանրապետության օրվա կապակցությամբ, ձեզ և ձեր ընտանիքներին՝ պետական այս բարձր պարգևներին արժանանալու առիթով: Այսօր ես բախտ ու մեծ պատիվ ունեմ շնորհավորելու և բարձր պարգևներ ձեզ հանձնելու: Դուք տարբեր ոլորտներից եք՝ սպորտի, ոստիկանության, մշակույթի, երգի, բայց, ի վերջո, ինձ համար այս բոլորը ներկայացնում են մեր ժողովրդի շատ կարևոր արժեքներից մեկը, որն ընդհանուր բառով կոչվում է մշակույթ: Եթե սպորտսմենը, որը մեծ հաջողությունների է հասել, իր հաջորդ սերունդը չկրթի, ապա մենք ինչ-որ տեղ կանգ կառնենք: Եթե ոստիկանության գնդապետի գեղեցիկ համազգեստը կրող տիկինը ոչ միայն օրենքը պահպանելով է զբաղվում, այլ նաև զբաղվում է նոր սերնդին կրթելով, սա նույնպես մշակույթ է»,- ասաց նախագահը:

 

Նախագահ Արմեն Սարգսյանի հրամանագրով պարգևներ ու կոչումներ հանձնվեցին Հայրենիք-սփյուռք կապերի ամրապնդման գործում ներդրած ավանդի, երկարամյա արդյունավետ ու հայրենանվեր գործունեության, մշակույթի, ֆիզիկական կուլտուրայի և սպորտի զարգացման, իրավակարգի ամրապնդման և հանցավորության դեմ պայքարի գործում ներդրած ավանդի համար:
