Բրազիլիայում նոր տեսակի կորոնավիրուսից մահվան դեպքերի թիվը մեկ օրվա ընթացքում աճել է ռեկորդային 600 դեպքով` հասնելով 72121-ի: Այս մասին են վկայում Բրազիլիայի առողջապահության նախարարության կողմից Twitter-ում տեղադրված տվյալները, փոխանցում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:

 

Գերատեսչության թարմացված տվյալների համաձայն` անցած օրվա ընթացքում գրանցվել է վարակման 6.935 հաստատված դեպք, ընդ որում, դրանց ընդհանուր թիվն աճել է մինչեւ 114.715: Նշվում է, որ նոր կորոնավիրուսից բուժվել է 48.221 մարդ: Ինչպես նշվել են նախարարությունում, ավելի քան 1.5 հազար մահվան պատճառները, որոնք եւս կարող են կապված լինել այս վարակի հետ, դեռ չեն պարզվել:

 

Երկրում վարակման էպիկենտրոնը Սան Պաուլո նահանգն է եւ դրա համանուն մայրաքաղաքը, որտեղ ավելի քան 21 միլիոն մարդ է ապրում: Նահանգում ավելի քան 34 հազար վարակման եւ ավելի քան 2.8 հազար մահվան դեպք է գրանցվել: Սան Պաուլոյին հաջորդում է Ռիո դե Ժանեյրոն, որտեղ հայտնաբերվել է վարակման գրեթե 12.5 հազար դեպք եւ մահվան ավելի քան 1.1 հազար դեպք:

 

Ծանր համաճարակային իրավիճակ է նաեւ հյուսիսարեւելյան Սեարա (ավելի քան 11.4 հազար վարակված եւ 795 մահվան դեպք), Պերնամբուկու (ավելի քան 9.3 հազար վարակված եւ 749 մահվան դեպք) եւ Մարանյան (ավելի քան 4.5 հազար վարակված եւ 271 մահվան դեպք) նահանգներում, ինչպես նաեւ երկրի հյուսիսային Ամազոնաս (ավելի քան 8.1 հազար վարակված եւ 649 մահվան դեպք) եւ Պարա (ավելի քան 4.4 հազար վարակված եւ 369 մահվան դեպք) նահանգներում:
