ՀՀ ՄԻՊ-ի հաղորդմամբ մեր հայրենակից Միշա Մելքումյանի առկա առողջական վիճակը թույլ չի տվել իրականացել նրա տեղափոխումը։ Արման Թաթոյանի հայտարարությունը ներկայացնում ենք ստորև․
«Ադրբեջանի իշխանության մարմինները հայտարարել են, թե հայկական կողմը հրաժարվել է այսօր ընդունել քաղաքացիական անձ, 84-ամյա Միշա Մելքումյանին։
Հայաստանի մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի քննության արդյունքներով հաստատվել է, որ այս պնդումը չի համապատասխանում իրականությանը:
Ադրբեջանական իշխանությունների նշված հայտարարությունը հրապարակվելուց անմիջապես հետո Հայաստանի իրավասու մարմիններին ներկայացրվել են հրատապ հարցումներ։ Պարզվել է, որ իրականում բժիշկ մասնագետների եզրակացությամբ՝ մեր հայրենակցի առկա առողջական վիճակը թույլ չի տվել իրականացել նրա տեղափոխումը։
Նրա տեղափոխումը կազմակերպելու անթույլատրելիության վերաբերյալ բժշկական եզրակացության մասին տեղյակ են եղել նաև Ադրբեջանի իշխանությունները։ Հայաստանի իրավասու մարմինները Մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանի հարցումներին ի պատասխան ներկայացրել են միանշանակ պատրաստակամություն առ այն, որ Միշա Մելքումյանի առողջական վիճակը թույլ տալու առաջին իսկ հնարավորության դեպքում կկազմակերպվի նրա վերադարձը:
Այսօր նաև հայկական կողմին է փոխանցվել 85-ամյա Եվգենիա Բաբայանը»:
