«Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն» թերթը գրում է. «Հունվարի 11-ին Վլադիմիր Պուտինի նախաձեռնությամբ Մոսկվայում անցկացված ՌԴ, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարների հանդիպման ժամանակ հնչեցվեցին մի շարք կարևոր հայտարարություններ, որոնք ավելի շղարշազերծեցին արցախյան վերջին պատերազմի էությունը և դրան հաջորդած իրողությունները:

Արարողակարգով նախատեսված բացման խոսքում Պուտինը շեշտեց, որ լայնամասշտաբ ռազմական գործողությունները հանգեցրել են բազմաթիվ մարդկային զոհերի, սրել էին տարածաշրջանի բարդ իրավիճակը և մեծացրել ահաբեկչության տարածման վտանգը: Փաստորեն, ՌԴ նախագահն ուղիղ տեքստով հաստատեց, որ Արցախում կռվել են Սիրիայից ու Լիբիայից բերված վարձկան ահաբեկիչներ, և դա արեց Ալիևի ներկայությամբ՝ նայելով նրա աչքերին:

ՌԴ նախագահի հնչեցրած մյուս կարևոր  ուղերձով շեշտվեց, որ խաղաղապահ բոլոր գործողություններում ՌԴ-ն հետևել է ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի սկզբունքներին…»:
