Այսօր Գեղեցկության միջազգային օրն է
SOCIETYԳեղագիտության ու կոսմետոլոգիայի միջազգային հանձնաժողովը նախաձեռնել եւ հիմնել է Գեղեցկության միջազգային օր, որը նշվում է ամեն տարի սեպտեմբերի 9-ին։
Գեղագիտության ու կոսմետոլոգիայի միջազգային հանձնաժողովն ստեղծվել է Բրյուսելում 1946 թվականին ու այդ ժամանակից ի վեր աշխարհի տարբեր երկրներում 33 մասնաճյուղ է բացել՝ ընդլայնելով իր աշխատակիցների թիվն ու դառնալով Գեղեցկության թերապիայի գլխավոր միջազգային ասոցիացիան։
1995 թվականից ի վեր այսօր աշխարհում ողջունում են ամեն գեղեցիկն ու հրաշալին, որը գեղագիտական հաճույք է պատճառում: Այդ պատճառով բազմաթիվ երկրներում եւ քաղաքներում սեպտեմբերի 9-ին գեղեցկության մրցույթներ են անցկացվում:
Պատմության մեջ առաջին գեղեկցության մրցույթն անցկացվել է 1888 թվականին Բելգիայում, իսկ առաջին «Միսս Աշխարհ» մրցույթը տեղի է ունեցել Լոնդոնում 1951 թվականի ապրիլին:
Բացի գեղեցկության մրցույթներից այսօր անցկացվում են նաեւ բազմաթիվ քայլերթներ, ակցիաներ եւ փառատոններ, որոնց մասնակցում են եւ խրախուսվում են մոդելային արտաքին չունեցող կամ ինքնատիպ արտաքինով մարդիկ: Իսկ իրենց մասնագիտական տոնն այսօր նշում են դիմահարդարները, դիմահարդարման նյութերի արտադրողներն ու վաճառողները, պլաստիկ վիրաբույժները, մոդելային բիզնիեսի եւ գեղեցկության ոլորտի բոլոր մասնագետները:
