Քրեական հետախույզները հոկտեմբերի 4-ին Արարատի մարզի Հովտաշեն գյուղում հայտնաբերեցին և հանցագործությունը կատարելու կասկածանքով բաժին բերման ենթարկեցին Երևանի բնակիչ, 41-ամյա մի տղամարդու։
Նա խոստովանական բացատրություն տալուց հետո ներկայացվել է դեպքի նախաքննությունը վարող մարմնին ու ձերբակալվել։
Հոկտեմբերի 7-ին էլ դատարանի որոշմամբ կալանավորվել ու տեղափոխվել է քրեակատարողական հիմնարկ։ Հարուցված քրեական գործի քննությունը շարունակվում է։
Հիշեցնենք՝ հոկտեմբերի լույս 2-ի գիշերը ոստիկանության Մաշտոցի բաժնում «911» ծառայությունից ահազանգ էր ստացվել, որ Հալաբյան փողոցի շենքերից մեկի բակում մեքենաներ են այրվում։ Դեպքի վայր ժամանած օպերատիվ խումբը պարզել էր, որ «Ֆոլքսվագեն» և «Հունդայի» մակնիշի ավտոմեմքենաների հրդեհը պատահականության հետևանք չէ։
Դեպքի առթիվ ոստիկանության Մաշտոցի բաժնում քրեական գործ հարուցվել էր հրկիզման եղանակով գույքի դիտավորությամբ ոչնչացման կամ վնասման հատկանիշներով։
