Ֆրանսիայի ԱԳ նախարար Ժան Իվ Լը Դրիանը պատմել է սպառազինությունների վերահսկման ոլորտում հեռանկարների մասին Սպիտակ տան վարչակազմի փոփոխության ֆոնին: Այդ մասին հաղորդում է Le Journal du Dimanche պարբերականը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ Ռուսաստանն ու ԱՄՆ-ը պետք է պահպանեն լծակներն ու գործիքները սպառազինությունները վերահսկելու համար ռազմավարական հավասարակշռությունը խախտումների բացակայության նպատակով: Նախարարը նշել է, որ դա առաջին հերթին կանդրադառնա Եվրոպայի երկրներին:
«Նախաձեռնությունները պետք է ընդունվեն եվրոպացիների հետ միասին, որպեսզի այդ հարցերը չլուծվեն առանց մեր մասնակցության»,-ընդգծել է Դրիանը:
Նա հավելել է, որ աշխարհն «այդպիսի բան չի տեսել 60-ականներից ի վեր»:
Հունվարի 15-ին Ռուսաստանը հայտարարել է Բաց երկնքի պայմանագրից դուրս գալու մասին, որը ստորագրվել էր 1992 թվականի մարտին ԵԱՀԿ 23 անդամ պետությունների ներկայացուցիչների կողմից Հելսինկիում: Նոյեմբերի 22-ին ԱՄՆ-ն ավարտել է Պայմանագրից դուրս գալու մասին գործընթացը, գրում է Գազետա.ru-ն:
