«В поисках красоты. Михаил Врубель»․ впервые были выставлены известные произведения Великого художника

При поддержке Московского культурно-делового центра «Дом Москвы» в Ереване в Музее русского искусства состоялось открытие выставки «В поисках красоты. Михаил Врубель». Выставка была приурочена в 165-летию известного русского художника М. Врубеля. Экспозиция представляет Врубеля как живописца, сценографа, скульптора и графика.
Музей русского искусства (колл. Проф. Абрамяна) организовал выставку совместно с Московским культурно-деловым центром «Дом Москвы» в Ереване, Национальной галереей Армении и Фундаментальной библиотекой Национальной академии наук Армении.
«Мы рады, что культурная общественность Армении сможет ознакомиться с работами великого русского художника, приобщиться к русской культуре и русскому искусству. Работы М. Врубеля выделяются в истории русской живописи 19-20-ого веков. Центр «Дом Москвы» создает предпосылки для культурного диалога, открывая в различных регионах Армении Русские центры и представляя русскую культуру и искусство», - отметил генеральный директор МКДЦ «Дом Москвы» в Ереване Ваграм Карапетян.
В Армении впервые на одной площадке представлены все работы автора, которые хранились в фондах Национальной галереи Армении и Музее русского искусства. М. Врубель создал не только большое количество художественных полотен, но и оставил свой след в графике, скульптуре.
«Данная экспозиция представляет всю коллекцию работ Мастера, позволяя культурной общественности приобщиться к миру красоты М. Врубеля и к русской культуре», - отметила Главный хранитель фонда Музея русского искусства, куратор выставки Вера Калчурина.
Впервые была также представлена книга “Сборник сочинений”, изданная к 50-ой годовщине со дня смерти М. Лермонтова, иллюстрации к которой сделали Врубель, Айвазовский, Суриков, Шишкин, Репин, братья-Васнецовы, Поленов и др.
Выставка будет открыта до 20-ого августа.
