Կարմրուկի գրանցված դեպքերի հետագա տարածումը կանխարգելելու նպատակով իրականացվում են մի շարք միջոցառումներ՝ մասնավորապես, հիվանդների հետ շփված անձանց (կոնտակտավորների) և կասկածելի դեպքերի վաղ հայտնաբերում, նրանց նկատմամբ բժշկական հսկողության սահմանում և համաճարակաբանական ցուցումով պատվաստումների իրականացում։ Ինչպես նաև, հաշվի առնելով ՀՀ-ում կարմրուկի հիվանդությամբ պայմանավորված առկա համաճարակային իրավիճակը՝ առողջապահության և ԿԳՄՍ նախարարությունները նախադպրոցական և հանրակրթական ուսումնական հաստատություններում իրականացնում են «համաճարակային ֆիլտր» միջոցառումը՝ կարմրուկին բնորոշ ախտանշանների՝ մասնավորապես ցանի առկայության դեպքում երեխայի մուտքը հաստատություն բացառելու նպատակով։
Այդ մասին «Փաստինֆո»-ի գրավոր հարցմանն ի պատասխան՝ հայտնել են առողջապահության նախարարությունից՝ շեշտելով, որ այս պահին նախադպրոցական և դպրոցական հաստատությունների փակման անհրաժեշտություն չկա։
«Ձեռնարկված հակահամաճարակային միջոցառումների շնորհիվ լոկալ բռնկումը տեղայնացվել է և ունի մարման միտում»,-փոխանցել են առողջապահության նախարարությունից։
Ինչպես հաղորդել են առողջապահական գերատեսչությունից, 2007թ․-ից Հայաստանում կարմրուկի տեղական դեպքեր չեն արձանագրվում։ Սակայն պարբերաբար գրանցվում են այլ երկրներից բերվող դեպքեր` հիմնականում չպատվաստված կամ թերի պատվաստված անձնանց շրջանում։ 2020-22թթ․ դեպքեր չեն արձանագրվել, 2019թ․ արձանագրվել է 7 դեպք, 2018-ին՝ 19 դեպք, 2017-ին՝ 1 դեպք, 2016-ին՝ 2 դեպք, 2015-ին՝ 33 դեպք։
